Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is used for structural and biophysical studies in a number of ways, including relaxation measurements, chemical shift perturbation, hydrogen exchange, and solution structure determination. The SCSB NMR instrumentation is housed in a dedicated two-story facility called the Dockside building. Instrumentation includes a Varian 800MHz (with a HCN CryoProbe), a 750MHz and an Inova 600 MHz NMR spectrometer. Both of the 800 and 750 MHz instruments are capable of HCN triple-resonance experiments with 2H decoupling. NMR Spectrometer scheduling is available online.
